Prabuddha De is Accenture Professor of Information Technology at Purdue University.  He received his Ph.D. from Carnegie-Mellon University in 1979 and served on the faculties of University of Dayton, Ohio State University and Cornell University before joining Purdue University.  He has published in a wide spectrum of journals, including Management Science, Information Systems Research, MIS Quarterly, Communications of the ACM, Journal of MIS, Decision Sciences, Decision Support Systems, Computers & Operations Research, European Journal of Operational Research, Naval Research Logistics, Operations Research, and several IEEE Transactions. In addition to being in the executive group of Information Systems Frontiers, he serves on the advisory boards of Information Systems Research and Information Technology & Management, on the editorial board of Journal of MIS, and as associate editor of Management Science and Decision Support Systems.  He was president of the Workshop on Information Technologies & Systems (WITS) during 1998-2000 and program chair for the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS) in 1999.
