L-933: Intellectual Property and the Internet: Cyber Piracy Syllabus

This course will explore the litigation context of trademark and copyright, with particular focus on issues arising from violations of these property rights on the internet. We will address a range of cyber piracy topics, including piracy of rademarks and domain names, jurisdiction in the ¡°nowhere land¡± of the internet, and infringement of copyrights in the motion picture and music industries by means of recent technology.
